This week’s Colour Challenge at the Global Design Project #GDP173 highlights the subtle combination of Soft Seam Foam, So Saffron and Petal Pink. Such a sweet combination suggested flowers to me so I used the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and the matching Bouquet Bunch framelits to stamp and diecut some flowers. I embossed a narrow strip of white cardstock using the Tufted embossing folder and stamped my sentiment before die cutting it using one of the Stitched Labels framelits. I also embossed the sentiment piece using the Subtle embossing folder, to add a little texture to ensure it would stand out against the simple white notecard. The sentiment comes from the Stitched All Around stamp set and it is one I use often. To complete the card I placed the flowers along the edge of the embossed strip and added black rhinestones to the centre of the smallest flowers.
