What a lovely shade if green? Subtle and soft but still a’true’ green. I only recently purchased the Pear Pizzazz ink pad and cardstock but have found myself reaching for, in particular the ink pad, very often.
I am sticking to a square card again this week. I really find them appealing. And for the first time in a little while I have gone back to my favourite wreath design. I used a greeting from the Perennial Birthday stamp set and the lovely blooms and leaf, that I used when designing my wreath, are from the Pop of Petal bundle. Of course I had to add some Gingham Gala dsp (Grapefruit Grove) and three small butterflies from the Botanical Butterfly dsp which is still available FREE as part of the Sale-A-Bration promotion. Just spend $90 on anything from either the Occasions and/or Annual catalogues and this gorgeous paper could be yours. To add some texture I used one of the floral punches from the Bitty Blooms punch set together with the small leaf punch to construct small flowers which I then adhered using Mini Dimensionals. These small punched floral elements, the stamped Highland Heather flowers and the butterflies glitter thanks to my Wink of Stellar Clear Glitter Brush. The greeting was stamped using Memento on Whisper White cardstock before being mounted on a scalloped circle of Grapefruit Grove. The completed panel was then adhered to the Pear Pizzazz card base using Stampin’ Up! dimensionals. I really do love adding lots of layers and dimension to my cards.
