Today I am highlighting a suite from the January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue called Country Club.
As the wife of a golfing tragic I was eager to purchase the stamps and dies bundle and the designer series paper. I really like the imagery and colours. The suite is masculine and sporty with detailed line-art images. Now I know lots of women play golf too but that said, it is quite hard to find ‘trendy’ stamps, dies, DSP and embellishments with a more masculine flavour. The DSP has a great mix of loud and quite gaudy papers and more muted B sides, therefore appealing to a range of crafters.
I made three cards, just by varying the designer series papers and embellishments.
I love the line-art image of the golfer and while I have seen a number of beautifully and artfully coloured golfers, I really like the clean image paired with the colourful DSP.
Several of the embellishments were cut from a piece of the designer series paper using the dies. I love it when Stampin’ Up! does that……match the dies to an image/s in a piece of DSP. I also love the banner dies and think that I will be using these a lot. I have checked and quite a few of the greeting found in the ‘Itty Bitty’ sets fit within these dies, which it sensational.
One of these cards has already made its way to a golfing friend who celebrated his 60th birthday recently.
If you would like to purchase any of the products that I used when creating these cards, the links are included below. If you would like a copy of either the 2019/2020 Annual Catalogue and/or the January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue please contact me and I will pop one in the post for you.
Thanks Michele.
