With the end of Sale-A-Bration we start to look forward to the launch of the new Annual Catalogue. This year Stampin’ Up! are making available an entire suite of products from the 2020/2021 Annual Catalogue EARLY!!! Beginning 1 April the Ornate Garden Suite is available to purchase. YAY!!! This video introduces you to the suite and you can also download a copy of a PDF here that includes all the details.

The suite has a vintage feel about it and includes gorgeous designer series paper, two sets of stamps and two sets of dies (available in two separate bundles at 10% discount), coordinating ribbon, an embossing folder and gilded gems. There is so much to like about this suite.

I love dies and both sets are incredible. I can see myself using these for years to come. I particularly love border dies and there are several. The Ornate Thanks stamp set is a combination of a large sans serif font and whimsical scripty sayings. The best part is that the scripty sayings can be used with other stamp sets for birthdays, etc and as stand alone greetings. The Ornate Style stamp set is perfect for the crafter who likes to colour and it also works well with both the large and medium daisy punches.

BUT…my favourite thing is the designer series paper. It is gorgeous!!! It has a beautiful nostalgic feel to it. It definitely reminds me of my Nanna and the floral aprons that she would wear. The colours are subtle and it works back with so many colours within the Stampin’ Up! range. The photos really don’t do it justice as it is so much prettier in real life.

my cards:

I made four cards highlighting the papers that had a pink tone to them. I used Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake as my coordinating cardstock.

My final card features the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. It is lovely and adds a lovely texture to the front panel of my card.
