Welcome to Week 14 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. I have finally started to think about Christmas and in fact I purchased my first Christmas ‘stuff’ this week……a few gift bags and lollies. 🙂 But who really wants to think about Christmas and the fact that it is rushing towards us when you can stamp and craft and look at lovely new products!!! (Stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks.)
I have three cards to show you this week. They were made using the Tidings All Around bundle and a few other bits and pieces. This bundle takes all the hard work out of creating beautiful wreaths. I have used it to create a number of cards. One of my favourite cards for the season was highlighted way back in Week 4 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. It too featured this bundle and a favourite Christmas colour scheme of Real Red and Sahara Sand.
For cards one and two I stamped the wreath image before die cutting it. I then put it back in place with dimensionals. In the first card I also embossed the outer potion of the panel with the Woodland embossing folder. A bow and a bell and Bob’s you uncle.
For my third card I stepped it up a bit by stamping a wreath first, using the small holly image from the Bells Are Ringing bundle. I stamped it once – full strength before adjusting the position of the stamp and stamped it again, using the second generation method. This helped to give the wreath some light and shade. I just love how the different bundles combine together so well.
And how stinking cute are the Jingle Bells? What a gorgeous embellishment and they actually tinkle!!!
