Welcome to the Art With Heart Team Creative Showcase for the month of February. This month the members of the team were challenged to create cards with the theme of Love and Valentine’s Day.
While I am a very sentimental person, I am not one for commercial sentimentality such as Valentine’s Day celebrations. But I am up for the challenge and wanted to prove that you can certainly create a card that expresses love without using a purely Love or Valentine’s Day stamp set.

My card today features a sneak peek of Butterfly Bouquet, exclusive and early release products, available for purchase 2 March until May 2021.
Did I really need another butterfly stamp set and dies? You betcha I did!!! These products are all gorgeous and will be a big hit for both card makers and scrapbookers.
The 6″ x 6″ designer series paper pack is full of stunning designs and the colour palette is dreamy. I used one of the B-sides for my matt and another from which to diecut my letters.
The small word love and dots are from the SAB stamp set A Touch of Ink.
Once I had finished stamping my pattern I used the new blending brushes to apply a light coat of colour before embossing the panel with the Subtle embossing folder.
The intricate butterfly was diecut from vellum using the new Brilliant Wings dies. These are awesome and coordinate ‘brilliantly’ with the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set and Butterfly Bijou DSP.
The heart die is from the Stitched Be Mine set. I bought this set of dies to use with baby cards, etc as I particularly liked the primitive hearts in the set.
