Sad to say but Sale-A-Bration has now ended. Today I created a card using the Hello Cupcake Stamp Set and matching framelits that were available as part of Sale-A-Bration Coordination. This stamp set was one of the first FREE items that I selected however, I hadn’t been motivated to use it until today. I have a number of upcoming birthdays and decided that Hello Cupcake would be perfect for one of them in particular, as the person for whom I was making the card is sometimes referred to as Cupcake.
I used a lot of colours from the Brights collection and I teamed them with two of my favourite Neutrals, Crumb Cake and Night of Navy. The piece of DSP that I used to matt my panel is from an older set called Delightful Daisy. I like the way that the small white flowers are of a very similar shape to the flower stamps in the Hello Cupcake stamp set that I used when stamping the wreath. My sentiment is from one of my favourite stamp sets of all time – Happy Birthday Gorgeous.
While it is sad that Sale-A-Bration is over, there are still lots and lots of beautiful products available in both the Annual and Occasions Catalogues, so don’t despair.
