Holiday Catalogue – Sneak Peak 1

With every new catalogue I have a NEW favourite stamp set, die, embossing folder, designer series paper, etc. I know……we all do……BUT this time I think I have a new all time favourite!!! 🙂 Here is a sneak peak of the beautiful Peaceful Boughs bundle and yes it is fast becoming my favourite Christmas bundle of all time. My pre order arrived on Friday and over the weekend I made seven cards using the bundle and the new Wrapped in Plaid designer series paper. I love to create square cards and I particularly enjoy stamping wreath designs. This bundle is perfect for that but by using the gorgeous coordinating dies you have so many more possibilities. So when the Holiday Catalogue goes live on 4 September I strongly suggest that the Peaceful Boughs bundle is one of the first products you order.

For Card One I positioned and stamped my sentiment in the middle of a Whisper White panel. The Stamparatus is a must for this, especially when wanting to use more than one colour to ink up the stamp (Night of Navy and Real Red). Next I used the stamp and rotate method to stamp the design. Simply place your square panel into the corner of your Stamparatus, position your stamp around your stamped sentiment, stamp and then rotate and stamp the panel again. Repeat until all four corners are stamped. Remove the first stamp and position your next stamp and begin the process again. For my card I repeated the process three times, first for the bough (Shaded Spruce), secondly for the pinecone (Crumb Cake) and lastly for the dots (Real Red). I then matted the stamped panel with some gold foil cardstock and a piece of the Wrapped in Plaid dsp before adding it to a square card Real Red card base.

Card Two features the coordinating dies which are to “die’ for!!! The largest bough is stunning and I have so many plans for its use. And the pinecones are so cute. These were made using gold foil and soft suede cardstock. The sentiment was stamped onto the Whisper White die cut panel using Soft Suede. All these pieces were arranged onto a panel of Wrapped in Plaid dsp which had been adhered to a square Night of Navy note card before a few glitter enamel dots and a linen bow were added as the final touch.
