Welcome to the 2021 edition of Heart of Christmas brought to you by the Art With Heart Stampin’ Up! Team. This year, we will be showcasing all the fabulous seasonal supplies that Stampin’ Up! have on offer, on a weekly basis and in the form of a Blog Hop.
This week I decided to revisit the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. We all get so caught up in all the lovely new product and forget that there are some gems in the AC. My card uses a gorgeous embossing folder and the wonderful shimmer vellum……
my card:
I embossed a piece of the Soft Succulent shimmer vellum with the Evergreen Forest embossing folder, adhered it to a matt of 2021-2023 In Color DSP (Evening Evergreen) and then adhered it to a card base of Evening Evergreen.
I then formed a small embellishment grouping using a loop of gold trim, a scrap of DSP, a greeting and some Brushed Metallic Dots and popped this in the bottom corner as I didn’t want to cover too much of the lovely embossed trees. The sentiment is from the ‘must have’ Christmas to Remember.
Don’t forget to give your envelope a bit of a spruce up too! Did you see what I did there?! 🙂

Oh I wish i could see this card in real life, Michele – i bet that shimmer vellum looks amazing. Great idea to keep this card clean and simple and let that vellum shine.
A great card Michele. I love the subtle embossing of trees and your treatment of the sentiment with DSP, trim and embellishment is perfect. Gorgeous.
The evergreen forest embossing folder looks great on the in color shimmer vellum. I like how you have the sentiment in the right corner and how you have got the DSP and trim behind it.

How lush is that shimmer vellum? It is a beautiful feature in itself, and embossed with those gorgeous trees, just looks stunning. I love the little cluster of loveliness at the bottom of your card, Michele … perfect details, and not detracting from the main panel at all. Love your card!
