my card:
My card today combines the old with the new and features one of my favourite dies from last season – the large pine needles die found in the Christmas Pinecone set.
I teamed it with the versatile Tailor Made Tags dies (also an oldie but a goodie) and the new Whimsical Woodland embossing folder and a greeting and banner from the new Christmas Banner bundle.
This embossing folder is even more gorgeous in real life. It is going to be the perfect background on lots of my Christmas cards. The Christmas Banners bundle is another must have as there are three different banners, a great range of simple greetings and some lovely ‘bits’ of greenery.
The tag was diecut from one of the many wonderful Sale-a-Bration products. Who doesn’t love a bit of gold at Christmas time? I then added some colour with a blending brush and Real Red ink and the bow was tied with line thread.
This embossing folder is going to be a ‘go-to’ I am sure. Look out for it in subsequent Heart of Christmas blog hops. 🙂

Such an elegant card Michele and I love the addition of the Real Red to the Gold dotty paper. I am alos a huge fan of that embossing folder.
Beautiful Michele. I love your cards that feature the tags and this one with the SAB DSP is lovely with the blended ink and the white embossed background is very crisp and clean. Lovely!

Ooo, I love this! The foliage behind the tag gives a gorgeous lift to the whole card and I love the red blending over the patterned paper.
Great card! I see I am going to have to get the Whimsical Woodlands Embossing folder now! The tag looks great on top of the embossed backing!
Michele I love how the tag is partially blended and to match with the stamped sentiment and banner. That background 3D embossing folder is gorgeous and the green pine needles coordinate nicely.
Very pretty card Michele, the shading on the tag really highlights the gold spots.
Simply gorgeous Michele. I love the effect of your layering, with the EF background (it is now definitely on my list), and the Christmas Pinecone die cut in green with the Tailor made tag on top – I love it with the Saleabration paper and the touch of blending. Then finished with the Christmas Banner. All so delightful. Xxx
