Week 3 | Pretty In Pink – AWHT CCBH 2024/25

Welcome to the Art With Heart Team’s Colour Creations Blog Hop for 2024-2025. Each week members of the team will showcase a colour from the extensive Stampin’ Up! range. We begin the Stampin’ Up! year with the fabulous NEW 2024-2026 In Colors before showcasing the other colours in alphabetical order. So let me continue on with my introduction of the 2024-2026 In Colors. Week 3 we are exploring……

Week 3: Pretty In Pink

Pretty In Pink, while an In Color, is not a new colour. Those of you have been part of the Stampin’ Up! family for a while would recognise this colour from several years ago. Even though I am not a pink person I am very happy to see it return, as it is a truer pink than the others we have in the range. Not too peach and not too mauve, but just right!!!

My card:

In keeping with my aim to only use the Layers of Beauty bundle when showcasing the new colours, I have created a Pretty In Pink monochrome card this week.

I must say I am a little disappointed in how this card photographed. It is actually much prettier in real life.

The greeting is from the Simply Said stamp set, a definite must have at a terrific price point, and the matt is a piece of 2024-2026 In Color DSP, also in Pretty In Pink.

Each of the large roses has also been painted with Wink of Stella but again, it is very hard to see in the photograph. Some white twine and of course some In Color shimmer gems and my simple card is complete.

You can see my previous cards, created with the same products, HERE and HERE.

A different look to the usual layers of beauty bundle we say. It looks lovely in the pretty in pink colour.

  2. Kate Morgan

A lovely, soft feminine card, Michele. I sure bet that Wink of Stella looks amazing in real life!

  3. Theresa Gerrard

Such a lovely subtle card to feature Pretty In Pink Michele. Simply Said is a great sentiment stamp set and I can see myself using it a lot.

  4. CHRISTINE BLAIN

Oh, beautiful, Michele! I love the tone-on-tone stamping, and that lovely new sentiment. You’ve showcased Pretty in Pink so beautifully.

  5. Catherine Proctor

Michele, I love the look of your monochrome card. I know you’re disappointed that it did not photograph as well as you hoped, but I can see what a beautiful card it is.
