Week 22: Just Jade
Just Jade is one of the new 2020-2022 In Colors…….and is a lovely blue/green. There are several Just Jade products available in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. These include Classic Stampin’ Pad, A4 Cardstock, Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill, 2020-2022 In Color Ribbon, Stampin’ blends and the 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper 2020-2022 In Color Assortment.
Just Jade can also be found in the Flowers for Every Season DSP. This gorgeous DSP features all five of the fresh new 2020-2022 In Colors. A must have!!!
Another designer series paper to include Just Jade as part of its colour palette is the absolute Forever Greenery. This DSP features six of the Stampin’ Up! green shades/tones.
my card:
When creating my Just Jade card I used a number of products from the Whale of a Time Suite collection. The Designer Series Paper from this suite is one of my favourites from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. The colour palette, which also features Just Jade, and images are gorgeous. I have also used the Seabed 3D embossing folder from the suite. It is stunning and adds such lovely texture.
I started by stamping schools of fish onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock using Pool Party, Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight. I then used a stitched rectangle to diecut a section. Next, I diecut another slightly larger stitched rectangle and then embossed it before sponging on layers of Pool Party, Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight. To a piece of the Just Jade ‘school of fish’ paper I added a layer of vellum and then added my smaller panels and a sentiment, which is also from the suite. The entire panel was adhered to a Just Jade card base and a few of the Blue Adhesive Backed Gems were added.
Just Jade is a dreamy colour that works perfectly for an underwater scene. It is a toss up as to whether Just Jade or Misty Moonlight is my favourite of the 2020- 2022 In Colors. I seem to change my mind each day. 🙂

A lovely card, Michele. The sponged panel really shows the beauty of this great embossing folder. The vellum over the background DSP adds another layer of softness to the already soft and subtle look of the card.

I hadn’t even thought to team Just Jade with all those lovely blues, but they “play” so nicely together, Michele. Beautiful use of papers, stamps, and that to-die-for embossing folder!
