AWHT Colour Creations Showcase – Rich Razzleberry

Welcome to the Colour Creations Showcase……the 2020-2021 version. This weekly showcase is brought to you by the Stampin’ Up! Art With Heart Team, Australia.

Week 41: Rich Razzleberry

Rich Razzleberry is one of the colours in the Stampin’ Up! Regals collection…….and is a rich plum. There are several Rich Razzleberry products available in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. These include Classic Stampin’ Pad, A4 Cardstock, Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill, Stampin’ Blends and the 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Regals Assortment.

my card:

For my card I created a background using Sahara Sand cardstock and ink, a decorative mask, blending brushes and the beautiful Very Versailles stamp set.

These decorative masks work brilliantly with the new blending brushes. They add lovely depth and texture to DSP and cardstock.

I then added a vellum circle and piled up some of the small blooms from the Hydrangea die set. Using a Stampin’ Write marker I added a spot of colour to the centre of each bloom. The sentiment is also from Very Versailles.

The sequins are from the Artistry Blooms suite collection and they are fast becoming a favourite, to the point where I seem to be popping them on every card I create, at the moment.

I also stamped the inside of the card and the envelop to match.

Thanks for visiting but, there is so much more to see. Please hop back to Catherine’s blog where you will find links to all the other team members and their gorgeous creations.

Thanks Michele.

The vintage look of your card is not much style but I adore how you have showcased it. I love the matching envelope as well.

  2. Caroline Manwaring

Oh so lovely, Michele. I love the vellum circle and the bright white flowers in contrast – gorgeous!

  3. Kate Morgan

Oh wow, that Very Versailles stamp set is another one I really love, but struggle to use. I just can’t get that beautiful vintagy look that you have managed to achieve so well. Your inked background is stunning and those crisp white flowers are perfect!

  4. Andrea Sargent

Wow, Michele. I love your card. The stencilling on Sahara Sand is delightful, and is great with the background stamping using the Very Versailles stamps. Love the combination of elements – hydrangea petals, vellum and layering of labels. All so good. xxx

  5. CHRISTINE BLAIN

Your card is beautiful, Michele. I just love the crisp white tiny flowers, with dots of Rich Razzleberry in their centres. The ink blending in the background is beautiful; it looks so good, lighter in the centre, and darker towards the outer edges of the card front. The Rich Razzleberry elements add a lovely touch of drama to your elegant, neutral-coloured, card.

  6. Catherine Proctor

What a beautiful card Michele and your matching envelope is just divine too! I love the effect you’ve created with sponging and masks. Thank you so much for inspiring us all with your Rich Razzleberry creation tonight!

  7. Tina Gillespie

Oh, wow! Your card is gorgeous! The Razzleberry works beautifully in the vintage colour scheme. The blending through the mask is fabulous.
