My Mum was off to her neighbour’s 90th Birthday celebration at the aged care home where her neighbour now resides and she needed a special card. Something bright and cheery!!! So I pulled out a favourite stamp set of mine (which unfortunately is now retired) called Penned and Painted. I just love the watercolour effect that it produces. Of course I used my Stamparatus to build the wreath. It really is the dream tool when using stamps that require two or more steps. Lining the images up is just so easy. I decorated around the wreath with foliage die cut from the Foliage Frame Framelits, added a cute greeting from Stitched All Around and finished it with some Silver Thread for a bit of shine. I stamped a flower on both the envelope and inside panel to which I added a ‘special’ greeting, also from the Stitched All Around stamp set. This card now sits on the dresser in Betty’s room, adding just the right amount of colour.
