While we are so immersed in the new January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration brochure it is easy to forget all the lovely product that can be found in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue. So each Monday I intend to highlight a product from the Annual Catalogue. This week it is the Sea of Textures stamp set and coordinating dies, Under the Sea.

Card 1:

After masking off a band across the front of my card I applied the ink using sponge daubers. I then removed the masking tape before stamping the reeds. Using my Stamparatus I stamped the octopus several times, layering on a different colour each time, to give it some depths. I added some diecut coral and a sentiment strip before adhering the octopus with dimensionals. I have written about my love for the die that I used for my sentiment strip. It is a beauty!!! It works with so many sentiments from so many different sets. I also used it on a birthday card that you can read more about here. It actually comes form the All Dressed Up set of dies.

Card 2:

My second card uses layers of stamping and diecuts. I do love the sentiments in this stamp set and the dies are fabulous. There are just so many layering pieces including the wonderful fishing net.

Card 3:

……and of course, what would a set of cards be without a square wreath card. The smaller images in the set are perfect for this. I used the High Seas embossing folder to emboss the largest panel. It works so well as a background to the sea themed images. The dots stamp and sentiment come from the Perennial Birthday set. It is my go to for birthdays and can also be found in the Annual Catalogue.

Colour scheme:

I love this dreamy colour combination. It certainly works well for the under the sea theme.
