Coordination Product Release Sneak Peak No. 2

This is my second sneak of the upcoming Coordination Product Release. You can see my first post here.

My card today uses the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Happy Birthday to You. Anyone who knows me knows that I do not like to colour but this image makes it just so easy. I was motivated by a number of wonderful YouTube videos. There certainly are some very talented crafters out there who so generously share their knowledge. I used Stampin’ Blends to ‘roughly’ colour the three flowers. Remember less really is more when colouring. I am by no means an expert but the Stampin’ Blends are very forgiving and I was very happy with the result.

So if you like this stamp set……it gets even better with one of the Coordination Release Products being a matching set of dies. WooHoo!!! They actually help to turn something lovely into something extraordinary. The added dimension and that ever so cute cake stand really make the card pop.

I added some leaves and a few sprigs which I tucked behind the flowers. I also added a small strip of black and white paper from the Sale-A-Bration product Golden Honey Speciality DSP. The sentiment is an old one BUT……I wanted to draw your attention to the strip on which it is stamped. One of my new FAVOURITE dies ever!!! It actually comes from the All Dressed Up set of dies which is part of the Best Dressed Suite which can be found on page 54 of the January – June 20220 Mini Catalogue. I love that so many sentiments fit on this stitched strip. I feel it adds a lovely neat finish to the card. This set also features two other dies that a perfect for diecutting sentiments. Very cool. You can see the way I used one of the other dies here.

The Golden Honey Speciality DSP is another must have……even if you don’t like bees, the black, white and gold theme is gorgeous and very versatile.

If you would like to purchase any of the products that I used when creating this card, the links are included below. If you would like a copy of either the 2019/2020 Annual Catalogue and/or the January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue please contact me and I will pop one in the post for you.

Thanks Michele.
