AWHT Colour Creations Blog Hop | Week 1 – 2021 to 2023 In Colors

Welcome to the Art With Heart Team, Colour Creations Blog Hop, for 2021-2022. Each week members of the team will showcase a current colour from the extensive Stampin’ Up! range.

Week 1: 2021-2023 In Colors

This week we are highlighting all 5 of the NEW 2021-2023 In Colors. The new colours are Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Fresh Freesia……and they are gorgeous. As a lover of green I will admit that Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent are my favourites but I am also very partial to Fresh Freesia.

You will find lots of lovely In Color 2021-2023 products in the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue however, my favourite is……

……and, I have used some of the gorgeous gingham prints on my cards today.

My cards:

All three of my cards feature the new All For Baby bundle. I was very happy to see this gorgeous bundle in the new catalogue as I enjoy making baby cards and feel that they are a lovely keepsake for the new parents. I still have all the cards my husband and I received when both our boys were born some 35 and 33 years ago.

card no.1:

I created the sky and grassy knoll using templates I diecut using dies from the Basic Border set. The sweet little birds are from the Beautiful Trees dies. I used Pale Papaya cardstock for my card base and the baby clothes were stamped with Pale Papaya ink.

card no.2:

Card two features Fresh Freesia and a little Polished Pink. Aren’t those little clothes hangers so very cute? The Fresh Freesia gingham DSP is from Pansy Petals and the third little romper was stamped using So Saffron.

Card no.3:

Designing a baby card that featured Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent was a bit more of a challenge but, with today’s trend in baby clothes and nursery decor being very much neutral tones, I was able to pair the two lovely greens with Sahara Sand and the Picture This dies to create my card. I am pretty happy with the result!
