AWHT Colour Creations Showcase – Calypso Coral

Welcome to the Colour Creations Showcase……the 2020-2021 version. This weekly showcase is brought to you by the Stampin’ Up! Art With Heart Team, Australia.

Week Eight: Calypso Coral

Calypso Coral forms part of the Stampin’ Up! Subtles Colour Collection and is a medium dusty coral/orangy-pink. There are several Calypso Coral products available in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. These include Classic Stampin’ Pad, A4 Cardstock, Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill, Stamp’ Blends Combo Pack and the 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Subtles Assortment.

Calypso Coral is just one of the may colours used in the fabulous Whale of a Time 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. This DSP has a glorious colour palette and some of the cutest paper designs you will ever see. I have used papers from this series when creating my cards today.

Calypso Coral can also be found in both the Artistry Blooms and Playing With Patterns DSPs. So when we are creating cards, scrapbook pages, etc using this gorgeous colour, we are spoilt for choice.

card number 1:

My first card uses a number of the items found in the Whale of a Time Suite of products.

This suite is so cute. I absolutely love the designer series papers and have showcased the Calypso Coral papers from the collection on my cards.

The very cute whale was punched from one of the papers. Don’t you love it when you can do that with a paper? I know I do. 🙂

card number 2:

My second card features a wreath design using a monochromatic colour scheme. All products used are from the Whale of a Time Suite apart from the sequins which are from another gorgeous suite called Artistry Blooms. The DSP in this suite also feature Calypso Coral (see above).

To achieve my monochromatic colour scheme I used Calypso Coral, Calypso Coral stamped off and Petal Pink.

Thanks for visiting but, there is so much more to see. Please hop back to Catherine’s blog where you will find links to all the other team members and their gorgeous creations.

If you would like to purchase any of the products that I used when creating this card, the links are included below. If you would like a copy of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue please contact me and I will pop one in the post for you.

Thanks Michele.

Beautiful cards, as always, Michele! I love how you’ve showcased the DSP on the first card (and yes, that whale punched from the paper is very cute). Such clever use of coral and fish images in your wreath design, on your second card; mind you, I’d expect nothing less! 🙂
