Week 36: Pool Party

You will find a number of products in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and January to June 2022 Mini Catalogue that feature Pool Party.

But my favourite product to feature the colour Pool Party is……

This absolutely fabulous pack of designer series paper can be found in the Host & Earn section of the annual catalogue on pages 170 and 171. It features colourful patterns on one side and lovely back and white designs on the other, which makes it super versatile.

My cards:

Each month I set a challenge to the lovely ladies who attend my classes. This month we are CASEing the new mini catalogue and for my sample I CASEd the gorgeous card on page 5.

To CASE a card means to Copy And Selectively Edit. Here is the original card as seen in the catalogue……

……and here is my interpretation. My edits included a change to a colour palette that included Pool Party, a different designer series paper and alternative embellishments. I also chose a different sentiment and decided to adhere it to the opposite side of the card. I am really happy with the result.

Stampin’ Up! catalogues really are full to the brim with crafty inspiration.

I used the wonderful Rainbow of Happiness bundle when creating my card.

The clouds were punched from a piece of designer series paper that can be found in the Sunshine & Happiness pack. (SAB) I also added one to the envelope.

These gorgeous Opal Rounds seem to reflect whatever coloured paper and cardstock you use them on. They really are a great embellishment to have on hand.
