Week 20: Gray Granite
Gray Granite is one of the colours in the Stampin’ Up! Neutrals collection…….and is a softer gray with a slightly taupe undertone. There are several Gray Granite products available in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. These include Classic Stampin’ Pad, A4 Cardstock, Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill, Stampin’ Blends, Shimmer Ribbon and the 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Neutrals Assortment.

my card:
My Christmas card features a non traditional Christmas colour palette. It is also a bit of a twist on one of my favourite colour schemes for Christmas which is Night of Navy, Real Red, Sahara Sand and Whisper White. For my card I have used Gray Granite as the neutral and then added Misty Moonlight and Poppy Parade as the festive colours.
Using the Playful Alphabet, Adhesive Foam and a few scraps of DSP and Gray Granite cardstock I diecut the letters for the main part of my greeting. The Merry Christmas is from the Peace & Joy stamp set. The little splatter is from Christmas Gleaming and of course there had to be a few rhinestones from……you guessed it, The Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels set.
The Playful Alphabet is the absolute stand out product from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue……in my humble opinion. Paired with the Adhesive Foam sheets, you have limitless possibilities. I suggest purchasing it as part of the Pattern Play bundle but even if the stamp set doesn’t float your boat……the dies are a MUST!!!

What a fun card Michele, great colour combo – I never would have thought of Poppy Parade and Misty Moonlight with Gray Granite! I think you may have twisted my arm with those alphabet dies, I really haven’t taken a close look at them before.
Great card Michele, I love the playful alphabet and have just gotten it in a recent order so I have played with it a couple of times. I think this is a very fun way to use it in a Christmas card! Love the colours you have chosen to pair with Gray Granite!
