AWHT Colour Creations Showcase – Misty Moonlight

Welcome to the Colour Creations Showcase……the 2020-2021 version. This weekly showcase is brought to you by the Stampin’ Up! Art With Heart Team, Australia.

Week 28: Misty Moonlight

Misty Moonlight is one of the new 2020-2022 In Colors…….and is a subtle greyish blue, almost denim. Being an In Color there are several Misty Moonlight products available in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. These include Classic Stampin’ Pad, A4 Cardstock, Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill, 2020-2022 In Color Ribbon, Stampin’ Blends and the 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper 2020-2022 In Color Assortment.

Misty Moonlight also features in a number of Designer Series Papers – Flowers for Every Series, World of Good Specialty, Snowflake Splendor (retiring soon) and the gorgeous, must have Trimming the Town (retiring soon).

Other In Color products such as this packet of enamel dots also include Misty Moonlight. These are a must have product in your crafting stash, as they add the perfect finishing touch to your cards.

One other product that I would like to highlight from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue that includes Misty Moonlight in its colour palette is the stunning Boho Indigo Product Medley. This kit includes everything you need……stamps, paper, dies and accessories for creating whatever you want – let your creativity run free!

It includes 11-piece photopolymer stamp set; 48 sheets of 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, 8 each of 6 double-sided designs; Very Vanilla 6″ x 6″ dry embossed sheets, 2 each of 3 designs; die cuts with gold foil accents, 2 sheets each of 3 designs; Night of Navy 1/2″ (1.3 cm) Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon; Very Vanilla/gold 1/4″ Pleated Ribbon; paper flowers, 20 each in 2 sizes and 12-piece Boho Indigo Dies. Refill kit available (sold separately). The colour palette ofĀ Garden Green, gold, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, Very Vanilla and white is so fresh and contemporary.

My cards this week have a very Merry Christmas theme as I used products from the soon to be retired Trimming the Town suite. šŸ™

Card no.: 1

The sentiment, which was snipped from one of theĀ gorgeous designer series papers in the collection, was the inspiration for this card. I added three diecutĀ hearts and one of the ever so cute houses, a couple of matts (one DSP and one embossed cardstock) and a shiny diecut wreath and voila, card one was complete.

Card no.: 2

My second card showcases more of the gorgeous designer series paper. This is another no stamping card. The paper and dies do all the work.

card no.: 3

Card three uses the largest tree die from the Home Together die set. Once I had positioned and diecut the trees I lined each tree with a different piece of DSP that had been sprayed with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint. They really do sparkle!!!

The very cute stars from the All the Trimmings Embellishments pack are perfect for the tops of my sparkly trees.

The Stampin’ Up! Giant Year-End Closeout event is the perfect time to shop. There are discounts on most of your favourite products from the Augustā€“December 2020 Mini Catalogue, including the Coming Home stamp set which coordinates with the dies that I used when creating my cards for today’s showcase.

The Year-End Closeout happens only once a year, so donā€™t delay as many items are already selling out fast. And, once they are gone they are GONE!!! Click on the image above for a comprehensive list of all the retiring products and those that are on special.

The Trimming the Town suite of products is one of my all time favourites and I am certainly going to be stocking up on the gorgeous DSP.

Thanks for visiting but, there is so much more to see. Please hop back to Catherine’s blog where you will find links to all the other team members and their gorgeous creations.

If you would like to purchase any of the products that I used when creating this card, the links are included below. If you would like a copy of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue and/or the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue, please contact me and I will pop one in the post for you.

Thanks Michele.

OMG, these are all so wonderful! The hearts on the first two cards are a great idea – I need to drag my hearts dies out! – but I really, really love the negative trees on the third card. They are gorgeous!

  8. CHRISTINE BLAIN

One of my favourite features of the Trimming The Town DSP is how much Misty Moonlight is included in the designs! I love, love, love your cards Michele. Your use of hearts is perfect, with the lovely sentiments you’ve cut from the paper. What gorgeous cards you’ve come up with, with no stamping. The shimmery trees on your third card are lovely, too. Very clever!

  9. Theresa Gerrard

Three lovely cards Michele like the others I like the third one but I also really like your second one even though there is no stamping

  10. Rachel Woollard
