AWHT Colour Creations Showcase – Old Olive

Welcome to the Colour Creations Showcase……the 2020-2021 version. This weekly showcase is brought to you by the Stampin’ Up! Art With Heart Team, Australia.

Week 31: Old Olive

Old Olive is one of the colours in the Stampin’ Up! Regals collection…….and is a medium yellow green. There are several Old Olive products available in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. These include Classic Stampin’ Pad, A4 Cardstock, Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill, Stampin’ Blends and the 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Regals Assortment.

Old Olive also features in a number of Designer Series Papers. One of my favourites is the Ornate Garden Speciality DSP which can be found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. I love the nostalgic feel and colour palette of this gorgeous paper.

BUT……it is in the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration brochure where Old Olive really shines, as it features in four of the most beautiful paper collections you will every see.

However, there are only three pictured here……that’s because I feature one of the collections on my card for today’s showcase.

my card:

I created my stamped panel using the stamp and rotate method and the smaller bouquet stamp from the Corner Bouquet stamp set, which is a Sale-A-Bration item.

The large floral matt is from the Fine Art Floral designer series paper. (The fourth new one featuring Old Olive that I alluded to above.) I simple adore the painterly effects in this collection. The A-sides feature gorgeous painted florals and the B-sides, painted effects such as gesso, whitewash and random brushstrokes.

The greeting is from Lovely Leaves and is actually the combination of two smaller sentiments. I added some twine and rhinestones and my card was complete.

introducing sale-a-bration:

Sale-A-Bration is back!!! YAY!!!

In 2021 Sale-A-Bration is a little different. Instead of one single Sale-A-Bration, the annual Sale-A-Bration event has been split in two! The first Sale-A-Bration event will take place from January to February, with the second beginning in July and ending in August.

For each event, only one Sale-A-Bration brochure will be released. Rather than feature multiple product releases in a short span of time, Sale-A-Bration products (and the brochures that tell you all about them) will now be released twice a year – once in January, and once in July. During each Sale-A-Bration event, the product offering will not change throughout the duration of the promotion. Click on the image above to download a copy of the brochure now!!!

These are terrific changes, but it means that you will need to be quick so that you don’t miss out on earning yourself FREE items.

Thanks for visiting but, there is so much more to see. Please hop back to Catherine’s blog where you will find links to all the other team members and their gorgeous creations.

If you would like to purchase any of the products that I used when creating this card, the links are included below. If you would like a copy of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue, January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue and/or Sale-A-Bration Brochure , please contact me and I will pop one in the post for you.

Thanks Michele.
