Week 10: Blushing Bride

My card:
My card today features the fabulous Potted Geraniums bundle. I love a bundle that not only includes the dies to cut out the stamped images, but also the dies to build the floral elements as well. Stampin’ Up! have a number of sets like this in the current catalogue including – the Pansy Patch bundle and the Daffodil and Tulips dies.
Using the dies only, I created the potted geranium for the front of my card.
I then stamped and diecut the plant label to use as my greeting. Even though I did choose to use this small greeting on this particular card, there are some really lovely larger sentiments included in the stamp set.
The matt is a piece of the floral patterned paper from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP pack. I love how the floral pattern supports the overall theme of the card.
Even though it only features a very small amount of Blushing Bride I wanted to show you the other card I created using this bundle. This card was created using just stamped images. The two-step process allows you to create stamped images with depth and texture. Oh dear another bundle for the wish list. Michele, I love your card I haven’t seen anything made with the set until now and yours is beautiful.
This is really lovely, Michele. The geraniums are on my list to get at some stage, they are really beautiful and I lie how you’ve just showcased the dies on one card and the stamped images on the other. It really shows the bundle well. Lovely layering with the DSP too!

Lovely cards Michele, I love the pop of sweet sorbet with blushing bride and you’re right that dsp looks like it was made to go with the Geraniums.

Michele l also love bundles that have dies to build floral elements and after seeing your borgeous cards I think I definitely need this bundle now! I love how you used the same deign to show the difference between the stamped and the die cut images.
