Week 14: Coastal Cabana

My card:
Can you believe that its August already? I CAN’T!!! Where have the months gone? Here we are in August with Father’s Day just around the corner, so it is time to start making some cards for my monthly market stall.
My husband and I spend a lot of time in Point Lonsdale, in fact, it is where the market that I attend is held. The Point Lonsdale Primary School hold a market on the second Sunday of each month, right through the year.
Th point is dominated by a beautiful white lighthouse and this was the inspiration for my card.
This is a new bundle for me, bought specifically because of the time we spend in Lonnie.
I am particularly fond of bundles that not only cut out the stamped images but also allow you to ‘build’ or paper piece images as well.
I created the background using another new stamp for me. How cool is it? I can see this one becoming a favourite.
I added the smaller stamped light house image to the inside of my card and the envelope.

What a fabulous card, Michele. I love the sun rays behind the white lighthouse and the ground around the base using the layering diorama dies looks amazing.

I love a good light house but this is FABULOUS! I love the Rays of Light behind it now I am going to have to get both and I had been putting it off as I still had the old light house! When I was away a couple of weeks ago we went to Cape Shank light house! LOVE YOUR CARD!
