Countdown to the NEW mini catalogue

Welcome to 2021. “Let’s hope it’s a good one, without any fear”…….. (If only John Lennon knew!!!)

There is so much to look forward to in the world of Stampin’ Up! with the NEW January – June 2021 Mini Catalogue to be launched on 5 January.

It is packed full of lovely product and today I would like to introduce you to just one of the gorgeous suite collections – Fine Art Floral.

This suite collection includes a stamp set and coordinating dies, designer speciality acetate, gilded leafing, ribbon, an embossing folder, heat and stick powder and designer series paper. The stamp set is Two-Step, which means that it is ever so easy to layer colours. It also includes a lovely range of sentiments in a gorgeous simple san serif font. The colour palette is stunning and the painted images on the DSP glorious. The paper is so lovely that it actually doesn’t need further embellishment. Whack on a greeting and voila……your beautiful card is complete. But, can we crafters truly stop there? 😉

My cards today were made using one entire piece of designer series paper. I used both sides of the paper and this is all that I had left when I had finished.

Cards 1 & 2:

These cards use the top half of the gorgeous paper. I used the ‘white space’ on one for my embellished tag. The other I kept very simple as the painted floral image is so stunning.

cards 3, 4 & 5:

These cards use the A and B sides of the bottom half of the designer series paper and showcase some of the stamp images and dies found in the collection.

I will say that I was completely intimidated by this very bright and busy piece of paper. To be honest I would normally turn the paper over and use the more subtle B-side, but I set myself a challenge and I must say I am very happy with the result. One trick when using such bold designer series paper is to pair it with Whisper White card bases. Works a treat!!!

This collection was the first thing I purchased as part of my preorder and I have used it to create a number of cards. You can see the others HERE and HERE. The first link takes you to a card that showcases the stunning specialty acetate. So, so gorgeous!!!

introducing sale-a-bration:

Sale-A-Bration is back!!! YAY!!!

In 2021 Sale-A-Bration is a little different. Instead of one single Sale-A-Bration, the annual Sale-A-Bration event has been split in two! The first Sale-A-Bration event will take place from January to February, with the second beginning in July and ending in August.

For each event, only one Sale-A-Bration brochure will be released. Rather than feature multiple product releases in a short span of time, Sale-A-Bration products (and the brochures that tell you all about them) will now be released twice a year – once in January, and once in July. During each Sale-A-Bration event, the product offering will not change throughout the duration of the promotion.

These are terrific changes, but it means that you will need to be quick so that you don’t miss out on earning yourself FREE items.

Check back on 5 January when you will be able to download copies of both the January – June 2021 Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration brochure.

If you would like a copy of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue, the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue and/or Sale-A-Bration brochure, please contact me and I will pop one in the post for you.

Thanks Michele.
