Heart of Christmas | Jingle Jingle Jingle

Welcome to the 2022 edition of Heart of Christmas brought to you by the Art With Heart Stampin’ Up! Team. This year, we will again be showcasing all the fabulous seasonal supplies that Stampin’ Up! have on offer, on a weekly basis and in the form of a Blog Hop.

my cards:

My cards this week were all made using the same stamp set……

I love this set of stamps as the fonts are just so interesting and playful.

card no.1:

I know I often profess my love for the Stamparatus but when the hinged plates allow you to repeatedly stamp a greeting in order to create a fabulous focal panel, what’s not to love?

After adhering the outline stamp to one side of the clear plate, I inked it up, stamped it, moved it down and then repeated the process two more times. The detailed stamp was adhered to the other side of the plate and the process of inking, stamping and moving completed again, before I added the ‘all the way’ greeting, bell and sequins.

card no.2:

When creating the focal panel for this card I stamped the outline of the word and then used a range of Stampin’ Blends to colour in the block letters. I then masked the letters and stamped the stars, as I wanted the stars to appear as it they were coming from behind the greeting.

Card no.3:

I again used my Stamparatus when creating this card. This time I used it as a pure positioning tool so that I could add a different colour to each letter, with subsequent stampings.

And yes, I did manage to use my favourite embossing folder, Whimsical Woodland, as the background to my stamped panel.

The possibilities are endless with this fabulous stamp set. It really is a top pick from the mini catalogue.

Fantastic cards and yay for the Stamparatus! I do love mine! Thanks for all the inspiration to use it and how to use it! I don’t know which is my favourite they are all fantastic!

  2. Kate Morgan

All of these cards are brilliant in their own way, Michele. The Stamparatus has been used perfectly to position your coloured stamping and hinge process. I adore how you added the stars using the masking technique – it is fabulous!

  3. Theresa Gerrard

Oh I do love all of your cards Michele and you have been so productive. My favourite is definitely the last card, I think it is the crispness with the pops of colour. Your first card shows such a great way to use the stamparatus as well.

  4. Catherine Proctor

Wow, Michele, you have really showcased both the Stamparatus and the this stamp set to perfection! It’s hard to choose a favourite, however I can’t stop looking at card 3 with that gorgeous Whimsical Woodland EF!

  5. Andrea Sargent

A gorgeous bundle of cards Michele – so impressive. I love the different ways you have filled in the key words – stamping, colouring in and colouring each letter differently. I love your use of the Stamparatus – you always show it to perfection. I am especially drawn to the final card with the gorgeous white embossing and the centre section featuring the multicolour word. Delightful. Xxx

  6. Caroline Manwaring

Michele, I love all three versions of your cards using this stamp set. Card 3 is my absolute favourite (I love lots of white space) with 1 & 2 running joint 2nd place. Great use of the Stamparatus too, showcasing it’s versatility.

  7. CHRISTINE BLAIN

Well, there’s a whole lot of fabulousness in tonight’s blog post, Michele! Fantastic way to showcase what you can do with the Stamparatus. I love the whimsical look of your first card design, using the playful letters to full advantage … and I love your use of colour. The way you coloured the sentiment, and masked it, on the second card, is just beautiful – as is the “wrapped present” look. The crisp white, bold colours, and awesome embossing folder make your last card a stand-out. I love your creativity. 🙂
