Heart of Christmas Blog Hop Week 13

I don’t want to alarm anyone but it is only 42 sleeps until Christmas Day and given that the weeks roll around so very quickly, it will be here before we know it. But in the mean time let’s get Christmas crafty with the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop Week 13.

This week I have chosen to highlight one of the sentiments from the So Many Stars bundle. I really like the font style, size and the simple greeting. This bundle is full of must have dies, some lovely Christmassy imagery and some of my favourite sentiments form the 2019 Holiday Catalogue.

I used my Stamparatus and the colours Merry Merlot, Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo to achieve the ombre effect. I added some gold foil sprigs, gold glitter enamel dots and some ribbon. The ribbon I used is one from last year but there are a number of beautiful ribbons in both the 2019 Holiday and 2019/2020 Annual Catalogues that would be a perfect alternative. The panel was then attached to a Merry Merlot standard sized notecard to which I had added a small strip of designer series paper from the Night Before Christmas collection. This 6in x 6in pack of DSP includes 24 different Christmas patterns and this short video lets you see them all. So many gorgeous designs, although I must admit that I am more of a ‘B side’ kind of crafter.
