Mini Catalogue meets Annual Catalogue

Today I wanted to continue my focus on the NEW January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue, but I wanted to switch it up a bit by demonstrating just how well our products work together. I introduced the Best Dressed DSP, which is just one part of the Best Dressed Suite of products, in my previous post. You can read it here. I love the images, colours and florals that make up the designer series paper. It is gorgeous! So today, I wanted it to be the star.

When I first opened the DSP I was reminded of one of my favourite stamp sets form the 2019 Annual Catalogue – Beautiful Friendship. The small rose image is very similar to one that is used in a number of the papers in the Best Dressed collection.

So armed with my trusty Stamparatus and a range of ink colours I stamped several wreath designs. I love being able to layer colour on an image. This is just so easy to do with the Stamparatus. I used sponge daubers to apply the ink to the stamps as this gives you more control.

Card 1:

For this first card I used Petal Pink, Lovely Lipstick, Blackberry Bliss and Daffodil Delight when creating the flowers and the leaves were stamped with Old Olive. This ‘B-side’ paper is simple but lovely and was a perfect matt for this multi-coloured wreath. The sentiment is also from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set and was stamped using Blackberry Bliss.

Cards 2 & 3:

The colour schemes for my second and third cards were drawn from the papers. Both sentiments are from the Dressed to Impress stamp set which is also part of the gorgeous Dressed to Impress Suite of products.

In the card above I stamped a wreath of flowers using Highland Heather and then went back and randomly applied some Gorgeous Grape to give the flowers some depth. The leaves were stamped using Pretty Peacock and the centres are Daffodil Delight.

This one is probably my favourite. The flowers were stamped using Petal Pink and Lovely Lipstick, the leaves Mint Macaron and the centres were again stamped using Daffodil Delight.

These products, one from the January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue and one from the 2019 Annual Catalogue really do complement each other. I just love the way Stampin’ Up! products coordinate. So when all the new loveliness arrives don’t forget about all those other products that you have tucked away in your stash.

Just a reminder that it is Sale-A-Bration time. This means that for ever $90 you spend on products from either the new mini catalogue or the Annual Catalogue you receive a free gift of your choice. On Monday I will be highlighting several products from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. See you then.

If you would like to purchase any of the products that I used when creating these cards, the links are included below. If you would like a copy of either the 2019/2020 Annual Catalogue and/or the January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue please contact me and I will pop one in the post for you.

Thanks Michele.
