Tahitian Tide | Week 5 – AWHT CCBH 2022/23

Welcome to the Art With Heart Team’s Colour Creations Blog Hop for 2022-2023. Each week members of the team will showcase a colour from the extensive Stampin’ Up! range. This year we are starting with the fabulous NEW 2022-2024 In Colors.

Week 5: Tahitian Tide

Tahitian Tide is a lovely clear clean mid range blue and I really like it. It is also the last of the five new In Colors to be showcased by the team.

Being an In Color you will find a number of products in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue that feature Tahitian Tide.

But my favourite product to feature the colour Tahitian Tide is……

The best thing about this very sweet paper is that if you find the A-sides a bit bright, the B-sides are wonderful versatile all over patterns, perfect for matting.

My projects:

card no.1:

And so we come to the last of my wreath design cards. This is actually a stamp and rotate design. Simple but effective. In last week’s post I explained more about this technique. You can read that post HERE. This is probably my favourite of the five square cards I designed as samples for my launch party.

How perfect is the small floral In Color DSP? I absolutely love the patterns in this year’s colour family paper packs and am confident that they will feature on my cards a lot of the time.

I did add Wink of Stella to the centres of the flowers, although it is a little hard to tell from the photo.

card no.2:

This card is one of two’ make & takes’ I put together for the ladies who attended my launch party. They were designed to complement the tea boxes which I made as gifts for every attendee. They really are cute and I thank Angela Pyjas from Stamping With Amore for the original idea.

The different sprigs of greenery from the Forever Flourishing set of dies were perfect for layering behind the teacups.

The greeting on this card is from the Sending Smiles bundle, as are the floral stamps I used when creating card one. I can see this one bundle being very well used as I find the simple font and sentiments fabulous.
