Welcome to Week 32 of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop. The colour we are showcasing this week is Night of Navy and it is one of my favourite colours, hence, I went all out and made three cards this week. It also helped that my order arrived from the new warehouse and therefore I had new goodies with which to play.
Card 1 features the new Dear Doily Cling Bundle. I think that I will be using this set over and over again. I embossed the Whisper White card front with the Subtle embossing folder and then added a Gorgeous Grape doily from the Colored Doilies pack, with some mini dimensionals, over the Night of Navy doily which was diecut using the largest doily from the set. It is such a nice size for card fronts. I then attached a butterfly punched from the Botanical Butterfly dsp and some ribbon and a small greeting to complete the card.
Card 2 features stamps from the Bloom By Bloom set and more of those gorgeous butterflies from the Botanical Butterfly dsp. This time I stamped the black and white butterflies with Balmy Blue to tie it all in with the piece of Balmy Blue gingham diecut using one of the stitched rectangles. I used another one of the dies from the Dear Doily frmaelits to diecut the lovely little scalloped edge piece in Night of Navy. It really adds a elegant finishing touch. The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set. I stamped it onto another of the stitched rectangles. I know!!! How perfect is this stitched rectangle for sentiments? Another must have!
Card 3 is…..you guessed it…..a square card featuring a wreath design! After all they are my favourites so what would a set of cards be without one. The Bloom By Bloom stamp set is perfect for this technique. I then added some smaller punched flowers for dimension and interest. These gorgeous little punches which are available as a bundle with the stamp set are well worth it. I do love the combination of Grapefruit Grove and Night of Navy. I really have become fond of GG. It certainly was not high on my list until I just had to have the Gingham Gala 6×6 dsp pack.

Wow, Michelle, these cards are all so lovely! I especially love the 2nd one. Thanks for hopping along this week.
Oh my goodness, you have been busy :o. As I scrolled down they got better and better and I adore the pop of colour with the Grapefruit in the last one, stunning!
Wow someone has been busy this week. I can’t choose between them I love them all.
Three gorgeous cards Michele! I’m loving the grapefruit grove gingham/night of navy combination. I never would have thought to put those two colours together like that. All beautiful, couldn’t choose a favourite is pushed too.
Your cards are all so amazingly sweet! I love them all, but I think the wreath is my favourite.
What a fabulous collection of night of navy cards you have made. The third one has to be my favourite though.
