This week the AWH team are showcasing a rich blue from the ‘Brights’ collection – Pacific Point. Now to be honest I have never used this colour before. I love blues and greens but this ‘electric’ blue is not a shade that I am particularly fond of. However, I did challenge myself to use it rather than opting out this week. And while it still isn’t one of my favourite colours, when accompanied by the softer Balmy Blue and highlighted with Lemon Lime Twist, I really was happy with the result.
The piece of designer paper that I used as the largest matt is just so versatile. It really does work with a range of colours and not just those as suggested by the designers at Stampin’ Up! I am also loving the Gingham Gala 6×6 paper pack……so much so that I think I will order another pack. I am actually nearly out of Balmy Blue and Grapefruit Grove (yet another colour that I wasn’t too keen on to begin with.)
I used bits and pieces from several products when putting this card together. The Dear Doily stamp set and Doily Builder thinlits dies are a must have. I am not sure whether they are being considered as a carry over item but just in case, you really do need to see whether your budget will run to purchasing them as they are essentials……in my books. The Butterfly Gala Bundle is another must have. As of today the bundle was on the Low Inventory list, so get in quick. However, I do believe that the Butterfly Duet punch is going to be carried over to the new 2019/2020 Annual Catalogue. Yay!
Don’t forget that for every $90 you spend you are able to select a FREE product from the Sale-A-Bration brochures. The second release of Sale-A-Bration was announced on 1 February and will be available to purchase as from 15 February. If you would like to browse the new brochure please follow this link. And just to remind you that two of the beautiful products I used in this project are in fact still available to select as your FREE item – Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper and Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack. These items will only be available until 31 March so please don’t miss out!
