Welcome to the Colour Creations Showcase……the 2020-2021 version. This weekly showcase is brought to you by the Stampin’ Up! Art With Heart Team, Australia.
Week Nine: Cherry Cobbler
Cherry Cobbler forms part of the Stampin’ Up! Regals Colour Collection and is just that……a dark regal red. There are several Cherry Cobbler products available in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. These include Classic Stampin’ Pad, A4 Cardstock, Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill, Stamp’ Blends Combo Pack and the 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Regals Assortment.
I am not a lover of red, except for at Christmas time. Therefore when thinking about what to create for this week, I thought Christmas. Fortunately my preorder for the upcoming August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue had arrived and I was able to use several patterns from the new Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. This very cute paper pack will be available on 4 August.
card number 1:
My first card features sneak peeks of several new products that will be available from 4 August. They can be found in the August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue. The gorgeous embossed poinsettia is just one item in the must have Poinsettia Place suite. The paper is from Plaid Tidings, the sentiment from Itty Bitty Christmas and of course I finished it off with some jewels from the Holiday Rhinestones pack. It really is a very simple card. The embossed poinsettia does all the work.
card number 2:
My second card is a square one and it features the absolutely fabulous Joyful Holly stamp set. It too can be found in the August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue. It is a two-step stamp set which makes achieving multi-coloured images just so easy. The lovely simple sentiment is also from Joyful Holly. I added a little Wink of Stella to each of the berries to add some shine. The central panel has a very fine matt of gold foil and the Cherry Cobbler plaid is from Plaid Tidings.
Thanks for visiting but, there is so much more to see. Please hop back to Catherine’s blog where you will find links to all the other team members and their gorgeous creations.
If you would like to purchase any of the products that I used when creating this card, the links are included below. If you would like a copy of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue and/or the NEW August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue, please contact me and I will pop one in the post for you.
Thanks Michele.

Oh that Plaid patterned paper has been used so perfectly on both of your cards, Michele. I have some but still haven’t used it yet, I must get it out as you have inspired me now!
I especially love the clean lines on your second card Michele and the gold foil base add a nice subtle touch
Both cards are lovely but I adore card number 2 on the plaid background.
I really do not like plaid, but I love your cards! The first makes me think of Burberry coats, as the Crumb Cake is such an unexpected addition to the colour combo.
Michelle both your cards are gorgeous but your first card reminds me of my Scottish grandmother and so it really tugs at my heartstrings. Thank you for sharing your cherry cobbler inspiration with us all tonight xx
Beautiful cards, Michele! I am a big fan of the plaid papers, and I love how you’ve used them. Your card designs are so crisp and eye-catching.
Terrific use of the Plaid Tidings Paper Michele, it really is such a fun paper pack with all those colours!
Lovely cards Michele, those plaids look so elegant
