Week 18: Garden Green

You will find a number of products in both the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and July-December 2021 Mini Catalogue that feature Garden Green including – Classic Stampin’ Pad, cardstock, ink refill, Regals Designer Series Paper pack, Regals Stampin’ Write Markers, Watercolour Pencils Assortment 2 and the Painted Christmas designer series paper.

My card:

My Garden Green Christmas card uses one of my ‘go-to’ card designs. I love that this design highlights several pieces of DSP. You may notice that after die cutting one of the tags from a piece of the DSP, I embossed it with the Wintry 3D embossing folder and inked the edges using Garden Green and a sponge dauber.

This lovely sentiment comes from the Frosted Gingerbread stamp set and is perfect for using on tags or in circular elements. I find that I am using this one a lot as I love the simplicity of the greeting and the contrasting fonts.

I like that the simple Pine Tree punch echos the simple trees in the designer series paper. I added a bow of the Black and White Gingham ribbon and some stars. To be honest this whole card was designed around the ribbon and the fact that it matched the gingham trees in the DSP.
