AWHT Colour Creations Blog Hop | Week 23 – Just Jade

Welcome to the Art With Heart Team, Colour Creations Blog Hop, for 2021-2022. Each week members of the team will showcase a current colour (in alphabetical order) from the extensive Stampin’ Up! range.

Week 23: Just Jade

You will find a number of products in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and July to December 2021 Mini Catalogue that feature Just Jade including – Classic Stampin’ Pad, cardstock, ink refill, Stampin’ Blends, In Color 2020-2022 Designer Series Paper pack, In Color 2020-2022 Stampin’ Write Markers, Just Jade and Gold Braided Ribbon, Festive Felt, Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo, Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP and Sweet Symmetry DSP.

But my favourite product to feature the colour Just Jade is……

This gorgeous paper features gold foil and the on trend technique that combines Isopropyl Alcohol and Stampin’ Blends, as well as, beautiful floral images.

My card:

This particular piece of paper screams ‘beach’ to me. It reminds me of the way the water changes colour according to the weather and it also reminds me of the different seaweeds and kelps that can be found on the beach after a storm. So it was only natural that I used it with the Friends Are Like Seashells bundle and the coordinating Seashells 3D embossing folder.

I absolutely love this greeting which was stamped in Just Jade.

I sell my cards at the monthly Point Lonsdale Craft Market. The market did run in May and June before restrictions meant that trading was suspended for a while. At the June market I had several of these cards for sale and they sold out in a flash. People were really drawn to the colours, texture and the greeting.

I created this card with the last piece of this paper I had. I haven’t actually used many of the other patterns yet as I often find bold florals harder to use. Green is my favourite colour, so of course, I was immediately drawn to this one.

I stamped the envelope and inside of the card. Using the Baby Wipe technique, I was able to achieve motley green coloured shells, similar to those created when die cutting and embossing this gorgeous paper.

The greeting was diecut using a label from the Tasteful Labels set of dies and I added three Gilded Gems as a finishing touch.
