AWHT Colour Creations Blog Hop | Week 6 – Blushing Bride

Welcome to the Art With Heart Team, Colour Creations Blog Hop, for 2021-2022. Each week members of the team will showcase a current colour (in alphabetical order) from the extensive Stampin’ Up! range.

Week 6: Blushing Bride

You will find a number of products in the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue that feature Blushing Bride including – Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack, Classic Stampin’ Pad, cardstock, ink refill, Subtles Designer Series Paper pack and Subtles Stampin’ Write Markers.

But my favourite Blushing Bride product is……

I am a sucker for designer series paper and I love everything about this paper, especially the B-Sides, and I used one of those B-Sides when creating my card for today’s blog hop.

My card:

Today’s card is simple and sweet. Using the coordinating bundle Hand-Penned Petals, I took my inspiration from the piece of DSP itself and used the white diecuts as texture behind my white circle. The Two-Step floral image was stamped using Memento Black and then Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz. I love Two-Step stamp sets and the more artistic ‘non-exact’ stamping of this one, is particularly lovely and very forgiving. 🙂

When a suite of products is this good, you don’t need anything else.

Please note: The stitched circle is one I had lying around on my desk from a previous project. The Stitched Shapes dies were retired in April but any of the larger circles in the Layering Circles set of dies would work perfectly. You could even add a scalloped border.

designer series paper sale:

And what better time to stock up on designer series paper? There are nine gorgeous sets of paper for sale during July and Hand-Penned is just one of them.
