Week 24: Mango Melody
Mango Melody is one of the colours in the Stampin’ Up! Brights collection…….and is a bright orange yellow. There are several Mango Melody products available in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. These include Classic Stampin’ Pad, A4 Cardstock, Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill, Stampin’ blends and the 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Brights collection.

When making my Mango Melody card I used the Playful Alphabet, Well Written and Stitched Stars die sets to create my greeting panel. The word birthday was diecut three times and then layered one on top of each other for some lovely dimension. I use the Adhesive Sheets when layering fine dies……saves those sticky fingers. I don’t know about others but I always end up with glue everywhere.
The Mango Melody matt was embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. After adhering the stars I added a Pumpkin Pie rhinestone to the centre of each one.
The small pieces of Designer Series Paper I used for my banners are from the Plaid Tiding 6″ x 6″ paper pack, which can be found on page 57 of the August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue. I love this little paper pack and have used it on a number of cards, for a range of occasions.
Mango Melody is just one of the many colours featured in the Plaid Tidings DSP. I used both Mango Melody and a coordinating piece of plaid paper from the DSP when creating these two cards a few weeks ago.

Those adhesive sheets are wonderful! I don’t know why I resisted them for so long. I love your card – the bold black stars look very cool against the Mango background.
Great use of word dies, Michele, and yes, the Adhesive sheets are a wonderful invention and a must have to save those sticky fingers!!!
Such a fabulous, fun, card Michele! I love how well the Pumpkin Pie rhinestones co-ordinate … didn’t think to try them! Everything about this card screams “happy”. Love the sentiment panel, and that you’ve used Mango Melody for the base and the main panel of the card.
