AWHT Colour Creations Showcase – Pacific Point

Welcome to the Colour Creations Showcase……the 2020-2021 version. This weekly showcase is brought to you by the Stampin’ Up! Art With Heart Team, Australia.

Week 32: Pacific Point

Pacific Point is one of the colours in the Stampin’ Up! Brights collection…….and is a bright medium blue. There are several Pacific Point products available in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. These include Classic Stampin’ Pad, A4 Cardstock, Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill and the 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Brights Assortment.

Pacific Point is featured in one of my absolute favourite designer series papers of all time – Whale of a Time. I love the colour palette and images of this collection. It is stunning and so happy and playful.

BUT……it is in the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue where you will find the designer series paper that I used when creating my card for today’s showcase.

The Well Suited collection has a masculine feel and quite a dark colour palette. It actually evokes quite a few memories for me as it reminds me of my Dad who passed away in June 2020. He wore a suit and tie to work each day and took a great pride in his appearance. But he also liked to wear ‘shorty’ pyjamas and two of the patterns in the collection are an exact match to the last two pairs of pyjamas I bought him when he moved into care.

my card:

This simple design is one of my ‘go-to’ designs as it is a great way of showcasing the designers series paper, while also ensuring that the sentiment is front of stage. The sentiment is from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Approaching Perfection. I really like this set of greetings as they are playful and a little bit cheeky.

sale-a-bration continues:

In 2021 Sale-A-Bration is a little different. Instead of one single Sale-A-Bration, the annual Sale-A-Bration event has been split in two! The first Sale-A-Bration event will take place from January to February, with the second beginning in July and ending in August.

For each event, only one Sale-A-Bration brochure will be released. Rather than feature multiple product releases in a short span of time, Sale-A-Bration products (and the brochures that tell you all about them) will now be released twice a year – once in January, and once in July. During each Sale-A-Bration event, the product offering will not change throughout the duration of the promotion. Click on the image above to download a copy of the brochure now!!!

These are terrific changes, but it means that you will need to be quick so that you don’t miss out on earning yourself FREE items.

Thanks for visiting but, there is so much more to see. Please hop back to Catherine’s blog where you will find links to all the other team members and their gorgeous creations.

If you would like to purchase any of the products that I used when creating this card, the links are included below. If you would like a copy of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue, January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue and/or Sale-A-Bration Brochure , please contact me and I will pop one in the post for you.

Thanks Michele.
