AWHT Heart of Christmas – October

Welcome to the 2020 edition of the Heart of Christmas showcase brought to you by the Art With Heart Stampin’ Up! team. This year, we will be showcasing all the fabulous seasonal supplies that Stampin’ Up! have on offer, on a monthly basis.

For October I am again using products that can be found in the gorgeous August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue. There is just so much to like in this mini catalogue. Click on the catalogue below to view all the gorgeous goodies for yourself.

All of my cards feature a sneak peek of a new Designer Series Paper – Classic Christmas, which is a 6″ x 6″ paper pack. The DSP is perfect for all your Christmas crafting and will be available for purchase 3 November 2020 to 4 January 2021. It features Cherry Cobbler, Sahara Sands and Shaded Spruce and a range of gorgeous images and patterns.

It’s it fabulous?! I do love 6″ x 6″ paper packs and find them just so easy to work with.

card no. 1:

One of the best things about Stampin’ Up! products is the way that so many of them coordinate. I just love how the leaf die from the Wishes & Wonder bundle matches the leaf image in the Classic Christmas DSP.

Of course, what would any Christmas card be without a bit of bling? The tree and star were misted using Shimmer Paint and the jewels are from the wonderful Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

card no. 2:

Simple and cute. This paper makes it just so easy!!!

The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas and it was diecut using my favourite die from the All Dressed Up set of dies. And……more rhinestones.

card no. 3:

I loved creating this little scene. Here, I not only used the trees from the Coming Home bundle but, the little house and slope dies as well.

The sentiment is again from Itty Bitty Christmas and……Holiday Rhinestones…….blah, blah blah!!! 😉

card no. 4:

Fro my final card I arranged my little scene on the tag from the Wishes & Wonder bundle. After I diecut the small house from Sahara Sand cardstock I embossed it with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder so that it looked like a little wooden cottage.

The sentiment is again from Itty bitty Christmas and it was diecut using the smaller circle die from the Wishes & Wonder bundle. And just to change things up a bit, I used Shaded Spruce rhinestones this time. 🙂 🙂 🙂

The possibilities are endless with these gorgeous supplies. I have just so many other ideas. Sometimes it just takes one thing to spark your creative juices and on this occasion it is this fabulous designer series paper.

Thank you for joining me this month and I hope to see you back here for the November Heart of Christmas showcase.

I’m really starting to like the Coming Home Bundle more and more I Will have to borrow it off of my mum and make some cards with it. Your cards are just so lovely Michele.

Just gorgeous, Michele! I am loving the little houses and trees together, and you have used the new Curvy bundle products beautifully. I was quite sure you’d be using Toile Tidings DSP, but am not disappointed to see how you’ve used the lovely new paper (that I told myself I don’t need)!
