WOW! Week 10. Only nine weeks to Christmas and that means that it is definitely time to start preparing for the festive season. Hopefully our little blog hop can give you the inspiration that you need.
This week I have returned to the Peaceful Boughs Bundle. It is my favourite Christmas bundle of all time. It is perfect for cards, memory keeping and Christmas decor items.
My card this week is super simple so I decided to make it in three very different colour ways.
Step 1: Using my Stamparatus I stamped the greeting in the middle of a 10.5cm square piece of Whisper White cardstock. The Stamparatus is the perfect tool for ensuring correct placement and it also makes multiple stampings/mass production simple.
Step 2: I used a circle die and pencil to draw a circle around the greeting before roughly dividing the circle into eight segments.
Step 3: Using the ‘dot’ stamp from the set I stamped around the circle eight time.
Step 4: I die cut the single bough eight times and then adhered these over the stamped dots.
Step 5: I added some embellishments in the appropriate colours.
Step 6: I matted the finished panel with the chosen designer series paper or cardstock and then glued this to a square card.
Super simple! It is not often that I use the one set or bundle exclusively when creating a card……but I did with this one. Everyone really needs this bundle 🙂
One last thing. I love the Holiday Rhinestones Basic Jewels and have used all of them apart from a couple of the pumpkin pie jewels. I will certainly be ordering more.
