Mix and Match on Monday – Under the Mistletoe DSP meets Ornament Keepsakes

I must admit that this particular piece of the Under the Mistletoe designer series paper didn’t grab me at first. However, once I realised that the ornaments included in the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set (now retired) matched so well I was excited to use it. Using Shaded Spruce and Real Red ink pads and a couple of sponge daubers I layered ink onto one of the large ornaments before stamping it onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock and die cutting it with the matching framelit. Using the Stamparatus really does make the process of layering different ink colours onto the one stamp, just so easy. I mounted the ornament on a Whisper White oval that was matted with a scalloped oval of DSP. I framed the main piece of DSP with Night of Navy before adhering it to a standard card base of Whisper White. I used the a small sentiment from the Mistletoe Season stamp set before adding a couple of clear rhinestones. For a final bit of bling I used the Wink of Stellar pen to add a bit of glitter to the small ornaments on the DSP and the ornament topper was cut from Sparkle Glimmer Paper using another retired framelit, Delicate Ornaments.
