Mix and Match on Monday – Wishing You meets Under the Mistletoe DSP

It may be late but it is still Monday so I made it……just!

Week 4 of Mix and Match Monday showcases another square card and another wreath design. As I explained last week I am in the process of converting many of my wood mount stamps to clear mount stamps so that I can use them in my Stamparatus. Does anyone remember this sweet little set?

I can’t remember exactly which year this set was available but I purchased it with the intent of using it to make Christmas tags, a few years ago. I did in fact make a number of tags but to be honest I really only used the small single present and both the sentiments. I tried using several multi-coloured techniques to colour the larger stack of presents but I was never really happy with the results so, I put the stamp back in the box and I haven’t used it since. Fast forward to 2018 and the purchase of my new favourite tool……the Stamparatus. I was looking through all my stamps for small images that would work when stamping a wreath. I decided that the present images in the Wishing You stamp set would be perfect. So not only did I convert them to clear mount stamps, I also cut the stack of presents apart and mounted them separately. And I am so happy with the result. I think it is my favourite wreath design ever. I also used the candy cane and star from Sincerely Santa stamp set and the smaller star from Little Twinkle stamp set. I love the combination of Night of Navy, Old Olive, Real Red, Shaded Spruce and the piece of gorgeous plaid from the Under the Mistletoe designer series paper that I used to matt the stamped design. The sentiment is from the Mistletoe Season stamp set.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to learn to use the Stamparatus. I have a few tips and tricks that I would love to share with you.
