Welcome back to Week 2 of the Art With Heart Stampin’ Up! Team blog hop for Christmas 2019.
For this week’s card I used some of the dies from the Beautiful Boughs bundle and the Wrapped in Plaid DSP. I have really been trying to create multiple cards with each bundle, stamp set, etc this year. This card showcases the gorgeous bough dies. I created a white on white panel which was firstly matted with a piece of Real Red cardstock and then a piece of the plaid DSP. The panel was then attached to a square Whisper White (Thick) cardstock card base. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas. This new stamp set along with the Peaceful Boughs bundle and Wrapped in Plaid DSP will be available for sale from 4 September.
I used the Stitched Nested Labels dies to cut the cardstock piece for the sentiment. It was a bit fiddly to get it the correct size to fit onto the gold foil label but with a bit of manoeuvring and partial diecutting I was able to get a piece of Whisper White the exact size I wanted. And isn’t that gold foil label just lovely. It also comes from the Peaceful Boughs bundle or if you prefer the Beautiful Boughs die set. I threaded though a piece of Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon as a finishing touch before adding it to the card with dimensionals. There is another larger label also included in the set. It is stunning and one I know that I will be using for years to come. I used it here.
