With all that’s happening worldwide at the moment, the Art With Heart Team are here with a Rainbow themed Creative Showcase, to brighten your day.
Every month the talented ladies share their inspirational ideas for using just some of the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! products available in store. This month’s Creative Showcase features projects that are inspired by Rainbows and I had lots of fun creating my card to share.
my card:
For my card I used a new bundle that can be found in the recently released August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue – Love of Leaves. This bundle is simply fantastic. I absolutely love the dies!!! They not only cut out the lovely stitched leaves, they also leave a beautiful stitched line around the negative leaf shape. Add to that, the fact that they come with separate stitched veins and oh my goodness……perfection.
I created a wreath using the smallest leaf and colours from the Stampin’ Up! Brights colour collection (+ pumpkin pie). I then used the coordinating ‘vein’ die to emboss each leaf. It took a bit of time to position and crank through the die but the effect is worth it. The lovely sentiment is also from the bundle. I kept the card very simple as I only added a single matt of DSP and a few clear gems.

Michele, this is such a gorgeous little card. Beautiful in its simplicity of design. I am anxiously waiting for my next BBB to arrive, as it contains this gorgeous Love of Leaves bundle. In actual fact, if it had arrived before this hop I was going to make my first attempt at a SITR card using it. I’ll just have to wait a little bit longer.
*Sigh* … this is SO beautiful, Michele! I’m totally with you, on those amazing leaf dies, and you have used this bundle in such a creative, eye-catching way. Love your choice of DSP to mat the focal panel on, too. Love, love, love!
